Fresh Garden Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can French cut green beans, well drained
    1 can peas, well drained
    2 c. celery, chopped
    1 large green pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    2 c. carrots, chopped
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. olive oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. water
    Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place vegetables in bowl.
    Make dressing by mixing sugar, olive oil, vinegar, water, salt and pepper.
    Pour over vegetables and refrigerate overnight.
    The longer it sits, the better it gets.
