Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. large onions
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    3/8 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. paprika
    oil for deep frying
Preparation
    Cut onions into 1/4-inch slices.
    Separate into rings.
    Place in bowl with cold water to cover; let stand for 15 minutes and drain.
    In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper and paprika.
    Dip rings into evaporated milk.
    Coat with flour mixture.
    Cook in hot fat until brown, turning often.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
