Grandma'S Gelatin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime Jell-O
    1/3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/4 envelope Knox gelatine
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 c. small curd cottage cheese
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. whipped topping
Preparation
    Combine Jell-O, sugar, boiling water and gelatine. Stir until completely dissolved, then let cool. Mix together cooled Jell-O, crushed pineapple, cottage cheese and nuts. Let set until the consistency of egg whites. Fold in whipped topping. Place in a mold or dish and refrigerate. This is very good and can be made several hours ahead of serving time, or even day before.
