Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    dash of nutmeg
    6 Idaho potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    1/2 c. Swiss cheese
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Place cream, butter, garlic and nutmeg in pan.
    Simmer on low heat about 10 minutes until cream reduced to 2 cups and thickens slightly.
    Butter casserole and arrange 1/3 potatoes in dish.
    Add 1/3 combination cheeses.
    Season with salt, 3 layers up.
    Dot with butter; add cream to cover casserole.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
