Mixed Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium cabbage, shredded
2 cucumbers, sliced thin
1 large onion, sliced thin
1 c. celery, diced
2 carrots, sliced thin
1/2 red sweet pepper, sliced
1/2 green pepper, sliced
3/4 c. vinegar
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 to 3/4 c. water
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine vegetables in a large bowl and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients. Stir until sugar dissolves.
Pour marinade over vegetable mixture and toss well. Chill at least 12 hours. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
