Baked Cavatelli - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. corkscrew pasta, cooked and drained
    12 oz. Italian sausage links, sliced 1/2 inch
    3/4 c. chopped green onions
    2 cloves garlic
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (14 oz.) spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
    2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Prepare pasta according to directions.
    In large skillet cook sausage until no pink remains.
    Remove from skillet, reserving 1 tablespoon fat.
    Cook green onions and garlic in drippings.
    In 2-quart casserole combine pasta, sausage, onion mixture, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, 1/2 of cheese, Italian seasoning and pepper.
    Toss to combine.
    Bake covered in 375\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    Uncover and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Bake additional 10 minutes.
    Makes 6 servings.
