Cocoa Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix cocoa, cornstarch, egg yolks, salt and milk; cook until thick.
Stir while cooking.
Let cool, then add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
When cool, cover with meringue made by beating the egg whites, 6 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon baking powder.
Beat egg whites until they begin to form, then add baking powder and then gradually add sugar, beating until stiff.
Put on top of pie and bake at 400\u00b0 until it is a golden brown.
