Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream butter with sugar, eggs, vanilla and brown sugar. Combine flour, salt and soda.
Blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 8 dozen 2-inch cookies.
