Chinese Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, sliced in thin strips
    1/4 c. margarine
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 clove chopped garlic
    3 large green peppers, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. celery, cut in small pieces
    2 to 3 c. water
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    6 beef bouillon cubes
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    5 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Heat margarine in skillet.
    Add meat and fry until richly browned. Add onion, garlic, green peppers, celery, pepper and 2 to 3 cups water.
    Cover and cook 20 to 50 minutes or until meat is tender. Add water as necessary. During the last 10 minutes, add beef bouillon. Blend cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat mixture and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes longer. Serve on rice.
