Chicken And Rice With Sherry - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. long grain rice
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1/4 c. sherry
2 chickens, cut up, or chicken breasts and thighs as desired
3/4 c. orange juice
1 can golden mushroom soup
Preparation

Butter a large baking dish.
Spread uncooked rice in the dish. Arrange chicken (skin side up or may wish to remove skin after baking) on the rice.
Pour the mixture of orange juice, sherry and golden mushroom soup over the chicken.
Sprinkle the onion soup over the top.
Cover with lid or foil.
Bake for 2 hours at 325\u00b0, then uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes, until rice is dry and chicken is browned.
