Williamsburg Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 eggs, separated
    2 1/4 c. granulated or white sugar
    1 qt. brandy
    1 pt. Jamaican rum
    3 qt. heavy cream
    1 qt. light cream or half and half
    1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks and sugar together.
    Add brandy, rum and heavy cream.
    Beat 6 egg whites until stiff, beating in remaining egg whites alternately with the powdered sugar.
    Fold in light cream; mix together.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon.
