Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium yellow summer squash
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can mushroom soup
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 c. grated Cheddar or American cheese
    8 soda crackers, crumbled
Preparation
    Cut squash, then boil until tender; drain and mash.
    Combine all other ingredients, reserving a small amount of cheese and cracker crumbs (about 1/4 cup each).
    Pour mixture into a greased casserole; sprinkle with remaining cheese and cracker crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, until brown.
