No Cook Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. soft butter
    1/3 c. Karo syrup (red label)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla or any flavoring
    3 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar (1 lb.)
Preparation
    Blend butter, syrup, salt and vanilla in large mixing bowl. Add sifted sugar at once.
    Mix all together, first with a spoon and then with hands knead in dry ingredients.
    Turn onto board and continue kneading until mixture is well blended and smooth.
    Makes about 1 1/3 pounds candy.
    Store in a cool place.
