Squash Fritters - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. squash
1 large onion
1 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
2 to 3 tsp. crushed red peppers (optional)
Preparation

Add salt and pepper to squash and onion and cook together; drain well.
Mix together flour, milk and egg, then add squash, sugar and salt.
Put in crushed red peppers (optional).
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased griddle or frying pan.
Brown on both sides and serve.
