Cinnamon Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. cherry jello
    1/4 c. red hot candies
    1 c. hot water
    1 c. cold water
    1 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. celery
    1/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve red hot candies in hot water.
    Add jello.
    Stir well. Add cold water.
    Cool until it begins to set.
    Add celery, apples and nuts.
    Cool until set well.
    I have used crushed pineapple instead of celery.
