Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    6 slices mild cheese, cut in small pieces
    1 medium onion, peeled and sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Place alternate layers of potatoes, cheese and onion in a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Pour milk over mixture.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender and brown.
    Serve hot.
    Serves 6.
