Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and egg.
Add remaining ingredients. Chill for easier handling.
Roll on lightly floured surface and cut with floured cookie cutter.
Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.
Makes 60 to 72 cookies.
