Hot Water Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. molasses
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. melted oleo
Preparation

Add water to molasses and then add dry ingredients.
Add oleo and beat well.
Pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 35 minutes.
Serve plain or top with Cool Whip.
