Toffee Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. chocolate bits
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven
    to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Beat butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla in a large bowl with electric
    mixer
    at
    high
    speed until moist, crumbly and mixture begins
    to
    gather
    around beater; stir in flour until blended. Press batter evenly in prepared pan.
