Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. self-rising meal (yellow)
3 or 4 tsp. self-rising flour, heaping
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 c. green onions, chopped
1 c. white onions, chopped
1 1/2 cans whole kernel corn, juice also
little milk

Preparation

Mix
all
dry ingredients together.
Add eggs and corn; mix well.
This
should
be
a medium mixture.\tIf not, add a little milk.
Fry in deep fat measuring with a teaspoon.
Have grease
on medium or hot fire, just so they will cook all the way without burning.
Constantly turn as they brown.
