Steak And Potato Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick in cold water
    2 lb. lean round steak
    salt and pepper
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1/4 lb. small mushrooms
    2 bouillon cubes
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    2 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
Preparation
    Peel, slice potatoes 1/4-inch thick.
    Cover in cold water. Cut meat into serving size pieces.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sear meat on both sides in hot skillet.
    Place meat in large casserole dish.
    Top with potatoes, onions and mushrooms. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water.
    Combine with tomato juice, salt, pepper, oregano
    and parsley.
    Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until meat and potatoes are tender.
