Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs, beaten
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add vanilla.
Beat in eggs.
Fold in flour, baking powder and soda.
If too stiff, add 1 tablespoon milk.
Chill dough overnight.
Remove from refrigerator and let stand 15 to 30 minutes. Roll thin on pastry cloth dusted with 10x sugar.
Use about 2-inch round cookie cutter.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 about 8 minutes. Cool and fill.
