Nobby Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 Tbsp. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 c. diced apples
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg and mix well. Add apples, nuts and vanilla.
Blend in sifted dry ingredients.
Bake in a greased 8 x 8-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
