Pumpkin Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. solid pack pumpkin
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and pumpkin. Mix well.
Mix flour, salt, baking powder and spices. Add to wet ingredients.
Mix well. Add nuts and raisins.
Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Cool and frost.
