Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 lb. dried beans
4 lb. bacon
1 1/2 lb. onions
1 c. salt
2 Tbsp. dry mustard
4 lb. brown sugar
7 qt. bean juice or ham broth
Preparation

Cover and soak beans in cold water overnight.
Drain.
Add fresh water and steam for 20 to 30 minutes or cook on stove until done.
Drain and measure liquid to use in baking.
Add seasonings with liquid.
Pour over beans in roaster.
Cut bacon in pieces; brown in oven.
Pour into beans.
Bake at 350\u00b0, covered, until nearing done, then uncover for the last hour of cooking.
