Blueberry Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. sugar
1 large egg, beaten
2/3 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening (melted or oil)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. blueberries
Preparation

Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and sugar.
Add egg, milk, shortening and vanilla.
Mix only until all ingredients are blended.
Stir in dry blueberries.
(I use frozen berries without thawing.)
Bake at 375\u00b0 about 25 minutes, or until golden brown.
