Ingredients

1 lb. butter, at room temperature
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Mix in flour (if glossy, add some flour).
Dough will be firm.
Roll in balls (about a teaspoon). Flatten and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
These can be decorated nicely for holidays with sugar sprinkles.
