Freezer Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 qt. cucumbers, sliced
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Cover cucumbers, onion and salt with a lid and let set for 2 hours.
    Drain; add sugar, vinegar and seasonings.
    Pour into containers and freeze.
    Pickles are better if they are covered by the vinegar mixture.
    They stay more crisp.
    Makes 2 quarts.
