Pumpkin Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 c. plain canned pumpkin
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. finely snipped dates
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 large eggs
1/2 c. water
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Set oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, baking powder and spices.
In a separate, large bowl, mix pumpkin, eggs, oil and water.
Add flour mixture and stir just until blended.
Stir in dates and nuts (optional).
Bake about 1 1/2 hours or until done.
Can be sprinkled with powdered sugar or frosted.
