Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. fat or Pam
    2 c. stewed tomatoes
    4 c. water
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1/3 c. rice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In skillet, brown the hamburger and onion.
    Transfer to saucepan after draining meat.
    Add water and tomatoes.
    Heat to boiling.
    Add carrots and rice.
    Cook until tender.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
