Dr. Pepper Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. chili mix
    1 clove garlic
    1/2 c. onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes or tomato paste
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. black pepper
    1/8 tsp. oregano
    2 c. cooked red beans or red kidney beans
    2 c. Dr. Pepper
    Water to make desired thickness
Preparation
    Place meat in a large sauce pan, cook.
    Add onions, garlic and cook, stirring with fork to break up meat.
    Cook until light brown.
    Add salt, tomatoes or paste, Dr. Pepper, and some water. Simmer until meat is tender.
