Ingredients

3/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Beat oil, molasses, sugar and egg together.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Chill in refrigerator.
Roll into 1-inch balls and dip in granulated sugar.
Place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 minutes at 350\u00b0.
