Beef Stroganoff 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. thin round steak
    1 clove garlic
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1/4 c. oil
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can consomme soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 lb. fresh or canned mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. chives
Preparation
    Cut meat in thin strips; dip in flour and spices and brown well in oil.
    Add onion and cook until transparent.
    Add rest of ingredients and balance of flour.
    Cover; cook slowly until slightly thick and add sour cream at last minute.
    Do not overcook.
