Margaret Marinucci'S Creamy Whipped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. medium potatoes
    1 (8 oz.) carton whipped cream cheese with chives
    6 Tbsp. butter (3/4 stick)
    1/4 c. sliced almonds
    paprika
    salt
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    2 c. heavy or whipping cream
Preparation
    Peel potatoes; cut into quarters.
    In 5-quart saucepot over high heat, heat potatoes, 1 teaspoon salt and enough water to cover to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender; drain well.
