Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. chicken stock
    3/4 c. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. crushed garlic
    1 bay leaf
    white pepper to taste
    salt to taste
    4 c. chopped broccoli
    1 qt. half and half
    roux (equal parts melted butter and flour sauteed over low heat)
Preparation
    Bring all ingredients except half and half and roux to a boil. When broccoli is tender, add half and half; bring back to a boil, then thicken with roux.
