Raspberry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 c. raspberry jam
    1 tsp. lemon rind
Preparation
    Beat the margarine and brown sugar until fluffy. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Stir into butter mixture.
    Add oats and blend thoroughly.
    Press 2/3 over bottom of greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Mix jam and lemon rind.
    Spread evenly over bottom crust. Sprinkle with remaining 1/3 crumb mixture.
    Pat lightly onto jam filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
