Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 stick butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift sugar and flour three each. Cream sugar and shortening with hot water. Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour and soda and mix in alternately with milk. Add flavor last. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 to 25 minutes.
