Poor Man'S Goose(4 To 5 Persons) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. potatoes
    2 oz. gravy beef (optional)
    1/2 tsp. dried sage
    1 oz. flour
    1/2 lb. liver or pig's fry
    2 small onions
    cold water
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix the flour and seasoning together.
    Cut the meat into even-sized pieces and roll them in the seasoned flour.
    Place in a pie dish with layers of sliced onion and sage.
    Peel the potatoes and half-cook them.
    Cut them in thick slices and place over the top of the meat.
    Three-parts fill the dish with water; cover with greased paper and bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for about 1 hour. (WCB)
