Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. milk (sweet or sour)
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn
    4 to 6 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1/4 c. Wesson oil
    1 lb. ground meat
    1 onion
    1/2 lb. grated cheese
Preparation
    Saute meat and onion together until meat turns white.
    Pour over fat drippings.
    Grease skillet as for regular corn bread. Heat and sprinkle with dry corn meal.
