Grandma'S Barbecue Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 thick slice lemon
    1 onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
Preparation
    Mix first ten ingredients.
    Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Salt and pepper cut up fryer.
    Place in shallow pan.
    Pour about half of the sauce over the chicken and place in a 375\u00b0 oven.
    Bake until chicken is tender and brown, basting occasionally with remaining sauce.
