Cinnamon Sticks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg, separated
1 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg yolk.
Beat well.
Add the flour, which has been sifted with the cinnamon.
With your hands, knead the dough in the bowl until the mixture holds together. Spread dough on an ungreased cookie sheet into a 14 x 9-inch rectangle.
(The dough can also be rolled by a floured rolling pin.)
Beat egg white slightly.
Brush onto cookie dough. Sprinkle lightly with the nuts.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, or until lightly browned.
