Crackling Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. cracklings
2 c. corn meal (white)
1 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 to 1 1/2 c. water
Preparation

Mix flour and meal together.
Add salt, sugar and water.
Stir until well mixed.
Add water, enough to make soft batter.
Mix well.
Add cracklings and mix again.
Grease pan well with 1/2 cup shortening.
Place in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
