Ingredients

1/4 c. butter (oleo)
box lemon cake mix
1 Tbsp. dried basil
1 (8 oz.) light cream cheese
1 1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. chopped nuts or your choice
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 egg yolk
Preparation

Blend butter and cream cheese and egg yolk until fluffy.
Turn into cake mix 1/3 at a time.
Fix last portion by hand.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by level tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
For bar cookies use a 9 x 13-inch pan.
