Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 to 3 lb. chicken
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
cream of chicken soup
1 egg
1 c. broth
1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Put in pot with about 4 quarts water and bring to boil.
Simmer until tender.
Debone.
Mix together flour, salt, baking powder, egg and 1 cup broth.
Roll dough on floured surface until thin.
Cut into small strips and drop a few at a time into boiling broth.
Carefully stirring, cook until done.
Add chickens and stir in.
Pour a can of cream of chicken soup over the top of chicken dumplings.
Don't stir.
Cover and let sit a few minutes before serving.
