Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. boneless chuck roast
    3 onions
    2 1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper
    1 pkg. instant onion soup
    4 carrots
    8 potatoes
    1 Tbsp. oil
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil.
    Put in an 11 x 13-inch pan.
    Cut onions in half, carrots in 2 to 3-inch pieces and potatoes in quarters. Place vegetables and spices on meat. Mix instant soup and water. Add to pan. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 to 3 hours until meat is fork-tender.
