Mom'S Famous Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box brand name macaroni noodles
    1/2 stick butter
    6 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    10 oz. sharp white Cheddar, sliced 1/4 inch thick
    10 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced 1/4 inch thick
    1 tube Ritz crackers, rolled into fine crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Melt butter in deep frying pan over medium heat.
    Stir in flour until completely mixed.
    Slowly add milk while stirring, until a white sauce develops.
    Add pepper and keep stirring until thick.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Slowly add sharp Cheddar and Swiss slices, stirring until cheese mixes with sauce.
    Bring 2 quarts water to a rolling boil.
    Add macaroni, stirring occasionally until tender.
    Drain noodles and return to pot.
    Add cheese mixture and stir thoroughly.
    Pour macaroni and cheese into large 9 1/2 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Cover macaroni and cheese with a thin layer of Ritz cracker crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
