Czechoslovakian Cabbage And Beef Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 lb. lean hamburger, saute and drain grease
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 to 3 stalks celery, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
3 to 4 carrots, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
1 (28 oz.) can chopped tomatoes with liquid
1 (28 oz.) can water
4 beef bouillon cubes
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Preparation

Brown hamburger; drain off fat.
In soup pot add all ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; simmer, covered, for 1 hour.
Stir frequently.
Add less water for a thicker soup; add other favorite spices, if desired.
Freezes well.
