Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (8 oz.) glasses sugar
    2 (8 oz.) white vinegar
    1 glass water
    1/2 tsp. salt (for each jar of pickles)
    about 12 cucumbers
Preparation
    Mix and let come to a hard boil, then cut cucumbers and place in the jars with the salt, then pour the vinegar over cucumbers. Seal and put in a pot of hot water and let simmer over low heat for about 1 minute.
