Tortellini Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head broccoli
1 lb. meat tortellini
4 cloves garlic
parsley
basil
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cut broccoli so that each floweret has about a 1 inch stalk. Boil water; place flowerets in colander above water and cover. When broccoli turns to a drab green and stalks are fork-tender, drain water from pot, reserving about 1/3 cup of the water.
Cook tortellini according to package directions.
While tortellini is cooking, brown garlic, parsley, basil, salt and pepper.
Mix browned garlic mixture, water that was reserved and the steamed broccoli.
Blend very well.
Add hot tortellini to mixture and blend again.
Let set for 1/2 hour at room temperature and then refrigerate.
