Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. jam
1 c. raisins
2 c. nuts
4 eggs
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
Preparation

Blend sugar, butter, jam and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients and add to first mixture, blending well.
Add raisins and nuts.
Bake in three greased and floured layer pans at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until tests done in center with toothpick.
Cool.
